Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inform the Inspector General (IG), Deputy IG, and OIG Senior Leadership Team about significant developments in the law, important judicial, administrative, or other decisions affecting the OIG, its people, or its resources;
-Advise and assist OIG senior leaders in OIG strategic plan, policy, and management directive development;
-Support OIG leaders in developing effective management internal controls that ensure OIG programs and operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards;
-Oversee OIG relationships with Congress and Office of Management and Budget;
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships in and outside of the OIG, especially with DoD IG , IG of the Intelligence Community (ICIG), and NSA/CSS Office of General Counsels -(OGCs), to identify and share best legal/counsel practices relevant to the oversight community and Council of Inspectors General on Integrity &...
