NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Instructors at the National Security Agency employ the latest principles of adult learning and analysis to design, develop and deliver platform training (including video, directed studies, and immersions), and/or web-based training for beginning through advanced level Analysis. Description of Position: Our full-time instructors develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate training and materials for adult learners. Our instructor cadre is encouraged to continue professional development to enhance existing skills and knowledge or expertise through analysis or training related research or course work and through participation and presentations at conferences, seminars and workshops and other fora. They also partner with individuals in academia, the public and private sectors, and other governmental agencies to develop and refine training components, participate in decision-making policy and craft guidelines to enhance training and performance assessment on the individual and program levels. - Design, develop, document, and deliver training courses. - Design, develop, and administer tests and provide feedback on test performance. - Incorporate training technologies in course development and delivery. - Conduct and participate in needs assessments for training and development.
The successful candidate for this position will possess recent operational experience in a technical area, e.g. computer science, networking and telecommunications, or engineering, and strong programming skills. Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. In addition, the ideal candidate will: ' Have prior experience in the Intelligence community ' Have experience teaching and developing courseware for adult learners ' Possess subject matter expertise related to equipment and technologies ' Have demonstrated skills in teaming and collaboration ' Be able to evaluate analytic proficiency ' Be able to determine difficulty level of training materials

Salary Range: $88,704 - $136,271 (Senior) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field, or in the relevant subject matter (e.g., Mathematics for a Mathematics instructor). Relevant experience must be in designing, developing, presenting, and/or evaluating training and development content in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying; including some experience conducting formal instruction.
