The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: systems administration, application administration, information technology support, or information technology management. ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL Entry is with a high school diploma or GED and either: (1) one year of relevant experience or (2) relevant certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Red Hat Certified Engineer, CompTIA, A+).
The ideal candidate is someone with a desire for experiential learning and strong problem-solving, analytic and interpersonal skills who is: - willing to take the initiative - innovative - able to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment - able to communicate effectively (both orally and written) - well-organized and able to handle multiple assignments Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following is desired: - network administration - system administration - Windows, LINUX and/or UNIX - virus detection and prevention - scripting languages (e.g., Bash)
Pay: Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $34,121 - $64,645 Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position. On the job training, internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee.
