NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal - to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. Description of Position This unique and challenging position is for a Facilities Planner to support US Army Cyber Headquarters at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The selected incumbent will have the opportunity to perform all aspects of Facilities Planner support in a diverse working environment that is heavily populated by military personnel. Specific duties include: Prepare short-term and long-range plans to provide efficient and effective facilities to support the Agency's mission. Develop strategies, schedules and budgets and implement plans for major initiatives relating to renovations and for military construction (MILCON) programs. Identify, plan and provide necessary facilities space requirements for all Agency customers. Plan, coordinate and arrange for relocation of customers to facilitate capital re-investment and major renovation projects. Maintain and update a space occupancy database for real time accountability of all occupied and available space. Create and implement standards for facilities modernization and tracks investments in real property. Test and evaluate new trends and technologies to provide guidance, project management services, hands-on facilities support, engineering consulting services and technical expertise in facilities management.

Salary Range: $43,251 - $68,777 (Entry/Developmental) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree in a Construction or related field (e.g., Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Engineering, Space Planning, and Interior Design) or a Business related field (e.g., Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance) is preferred. Relevant experience in space planning and design, facilities, project management, economics, marketing, accounting, business administration, finance, property/space management, human resources, training, security, communications, or budgeting is preferred. Salary Range: $64,009 - $99,741 (Full Performance) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree in a Construction or related field (e.g., Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Engineering, Space Planning, and Interior Design) or a Business related field (e.g., Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance) is preferred. Relevant experience must be in space planning and design, facilities, project management, economics, marketing, accounting, business administration, finance, property/space management, human resources, training, security, communications, or budgeting.

Monday - Friday with possible shift schedule. On-the job training, Internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee.
