Job Description

Responsibilities: NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive or classified national security information. Enabling Support Specialists assist leadership in specialized areas such as training, manpower, space, visits, property management, security, budgeting, and policy for mission organizations. Description of the Position Enabling Support Specialists play a vital role in: - Providing timely, accurate responses, and assistance within legal, policy and program guidelines. - Recommending improvements to internal procedures and processes while working collaboratively towards implementation. - Serving as a point of contact/liaison between mission and support organizations. - Representing the work unit when meeting with other organizations. - Building and maintaining working relationships and networks with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders. - Working as part of a team. - Experience with Basis of Estimates, analysis, quality assurance, Planning, Programming, Budget Execution (PPBE), Customer Service, Staff Actions, Coordinator, program acquisition support (research, market surveys, site surveys, statements of work, sole source justifications, review/approve invoices), drafts authoritative written presentations, correspondence, reports for senior executive level review/approval

Do you have relevant work experience that includes research, analyses, writing/editing, business/administrative work or managing people of projects? NSA has numerous positions such as Staff Officers, Enabling Support Specialists and Project Directors.

Salary: $72,030 - $112,240 (Full Performance) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in one or more of the mission support functions (e.g., human resources, training, manpower, property/space management, security, communications, or budgeting), at least some within the IC/DoD.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
