NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive or classified national security information. Instructors at the National Security Agency employ the latest principles of adult learning to design, develop and deliver classroom instruction using advanced technology and multimedia, as well as adapting blended and flipped classroom techniques in order to provide training to a worldwide workforce. Description of Position: Our full-time instructors teach as well as develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate training and materials for intelligence professionals. Our instructor cadre is encouraged to continue professional development to enhance existing skills and knowledge or expertise through training related research or course work and through participation and presentations at conferences, seminars and workshops and other fora. They also partner with individuals in academia, the public and private sectors, and other governmental agencies to develop and refine training components, participate in decision-making policy and craft guidelines to enhance their training and performance assessment on the individual and program levels. - Design, develop, document, and deliver training courses. - Design, develop, and administer tests and provide feedback on test performance. - Incorporate training technologies in course development and delivery. - Conduct and participate in needs assessments for training and development.

Salary Range: $102,663 - $157,709 (Senior) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field, or in the relevant subject matter (e.g., Mathematics for a Mathematics instructor). Relevant experience must be in designing, developing, presenting, and/or evaluating training and development content in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying; including some experience conducting formal instruction. Salary Range: $142,701 - $170,800 (Expert) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field, or in the relevant subject matter (e.g., Mathematics for a Mathematics instructor). Relevant experience must be in designing, developing, presenting, and/or evaluating training and development content in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying; including some experience conducting formal instruction.
The successful candidate for this position will possess recent operational experience in operational collection or technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM). A minimum ten years of field experience in TSCM, Technical Operations (TO) and service with multiple DoD and civilian agencies is desired. In addition, the ideal candidate will: - Possess excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills - Have experience teaching and developing courseware for adult learners - Possess subject matter expertise related to equipment and technologies - Have demonstrated skills in teaming and collaboration
