During the summer of 2016 I conducted research on gravitational lensing of black holes under the guidance of professor Henric Krawczynski at WashU at St. Louis and wrote a paper featured in UChicago's undergraduate research magazine. In the summer of 2017 I participated in research regarding ultra-faint dwarf galaxies (HERON project) with professor R. Michael Rich at UCLA alongside two foreign exchange students from Nanjing University.
I am passionate about STEM and spent 40+ hours volunteering with an After-School Science Program at an elementary/middle school (in Chicago) where we held small physics/biology/chemistry/engineering experiments with kids from ages 5-14. I always enjoy helping people solve problems that have been giving them trouble before.
